Custom Filter Capabilities

Curtis Industries offers a broad range of off-the-shelf RFI noise filters available for immediate delivery.

If you cannot find a standard filter to meet your exact need, it is possible to modify an existing unit or design a Custom filter assembly that will fulfill your application requirements in the most cost-effective manner.

The Curtis Filter Engineering Department is fully equipped and qualified to consult with you on your RFI emission control problems. For assistance, contact one of our sales engineers and we will arrange to test your equipment and help you select the proper filter for your application.

What we need from you:

Since RFI filter performance is a function of the unknown impedances seen in actual installation and of the filter's internal impedances, it is not practical to specify component values in an attempt to achieve uniform performance. Rather, the filter's performance in the application should be evaluated. A filter should then be specified by these parameters which incoming inspection can use to assure product uniformity.

When specifying non-standard Curtis filters, it would be helpful if you could include as much of the following information as possible on your engineering drawings or specification sheets.

  1. Rated Voltage
  2. Rated Current
  3. Line Frequency
